Continuing what is life about?

Swimming in the sea. Glorious. Cold, slick seawater and soft, soft sand. Warm sun. Cloudless sky and deep blue surf. All the cobwebs gone today. Is it the sea, or is it that my family would go to the beach all the time when I was a kid? Is it that the ocean refreshes, or that swimming in the surf is so familiar and loved, and in a year when the familiar has vanished and loved ones have died, anything from life before is so much more precious?
